Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the Pre-Technology Programme for academic year 2020/2021. The programme was developed by Arusha Technical College (ATC) through the Improving Skills Training for the Employment Program (ISTEP). It was developed with the collaboration of key partners including; Sault and Parkland Colleges from Canada, VETA, NACTE and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MoEST). The Curriculum has been approved by NACTE and the MoEST has granted permission for ATC to run the programme.

The primary objective of Pre - Technology Programme is to enable Vocational and Educational Training (VET) graduates with National Vocational Awards (NVAs) Level 3 to progress to Technical Education and Training (TET) programs in National Technical Award (NTA) Level 4. Upon completion of the Pre-Technology Programme and successful passing end of the course examination, candidates will get an opportunity to be admitted to various Engineering and Sciences and Technology programmes offered at ATC.

The Arusha Technical College through the Government of Tanzania has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of East Africa for Transformation and Regional

Integration Project (EASTRIP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Supply of One Passengers Bus (50-55 SEATS) for Kikuletwa

Renewable Energy Training and Research Centre for this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through a letter of credit.
